The Rubic, Residential condos

DESCRIPTION

The Rubic is a 10-story, multiple-use building located in Montreal at 1115 René-Levesque Boulevard East, between Amherst and Wolfe streets. The building will consist of 2 basement floors with interior parking accessible by elevator.  On the ground floor, a commercial condo and the lobby for the 46 residential condo units on floors 2 to 10, will be located.

In the heart of the media district, the building features distinctive and dynamic architecture that will undoubtedly serve as a benchmark in this urban area. The structure composed of concrete and steel is of superior quality and has mechanical properties that are very advantageous. Built with the Upbrella technology, this project presents important advantages from a quality, efficiency and innovation perspective.

TECHNOLOGICAL COMPONENTS

An International Innovation Showcase, the Rubic project, built by Upbrella Construction, offers the following assembly:

1- Mounting of the roof on the 2nd floor slab

2- Installation of industrial handling equipment

3- Construction work sheltered by the roof and a temporary perimeter wall

4- Raising of the roof as the construction project progresses

5- Use of materials prepared in the factory and assembled under the best conditions

6- Reduction of material and energy waste
