Steel Erector
As an Upbrella Steel Erector, you’ll be responsible for assembling and installing steel structures and components that make up the Upbrella solution on our job sites, as well as occasional building structures. You will help ensure the stability and safety of installations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install metal structures and construction equipment;
- Erect complete or partial high-rise building structures;
- Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications;
- Use tools and equipment required for assembly and installation;
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations;
- Collaborate with members of the construction team (general contractor).
Skills
- Training in metal structure assembly and/or erection;
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in erecting structures in the construction industry;
- Skills card (steel or structural erector);
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using mobile equipment;
- Excellent manual skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work as part of a team on innovative and diverse projects;
- Good knowledge of assembly equipment operations (cranes, forklifts, etc.);
- Welder’s card/certification;
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
